About

Welcome! My name is Ranae. I am a wife, a mother of two school-aged boys, and a marketing professional. My youngest son was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Since the diagnosis, it feels as though our family has entered into a new stratosphere. Do you know the feeling?

There is a lot to learn about Celiac. As a family, we have decided to approach the lifestyle at a pace we can handle. Sometimes that pace means we must tune out, and not allow ourselves to do too much research all at once. Slow and steady wins the race. Our Celiac son has been gluten free for 6 months and he is feeling great! The rest of us are slowly removing gluten from our diet. This comes with its challenges—as I'm sure you can imagine—some of which I will share on this blog.

My intention for this blog is to help other parents like you who are faced with a new Celiac's diagnosis to navigate through the ups and downs, the trials and tribulations, and to be a resource that you can come back to when you have questions or need help. I will share our family's experiences, recipes, helpful tips and tricks, and other great resources I have found helpful during our Celiac journey.

Most importantly, I would like nothing better than to have an interactive space here. I'd love to hear from you. Please comment freely and often!
